About
Hi, I'm Aileen!
"Eye-Lean" | She/Her
You can call me Beanie if you'd like- a childhood nickname that has always stayed close to my heart.

I am certified Trauma-Sensitive and Accessible Yoga teacher, born and raised on the ancestral and unceded lands of the Nuuchu (Ute), Hinono'ei (Arapaho) and Tsistsistas (Cheyenne) in Colorado.

I aim to provide a safe and supportive environment for students to explore the benefits of yoga and learn a little more about themselves along the way.

Why Trauma-Sensitive Yoga?
“Trauma disconnects the body and mind and this practice reconnects them,”
-Judy Weaver, yoga therapist, author, & cofounder of Connected Warriors
We live in a fast paced world of urgency culture, amidst a backdrop of violence and cruelty. Many of us are unawarely living in varying states of survival mode, which can wreck havoc on our nervous systems and impair our quality of life.

Trauma-Sensitive Yoga (TSY) is body-based and somatic in approach. It's instructed with the aim of the highest levels of safety, and includes knowledge, awareness and sensitivity regarding bodies that hold trauma.

Why Accessible Yoga?
Because everyBODY of every ability and size deserves to practice and experience the benefits of Yoga
